Story 3 - Mosquito Player

Updated Friday February 23, 2018 by The Strike Zone.

This was my son's second year playing house league baseball. He was fortunate enough to be placed on a team with dedicated coaches who cared and supportive teammates who welcomed him. To prepare for the up coming 2017 season my son took a clinic at the Strike Zone. He had not played baseball in about 4 years and we thought this would help build his confidence and "blow the dust off" his skills.

The season could not have gone better for my son. He learned about hard work, dedication to a team, how to gain mental toughness when things did'nt go his way at bat, and he had fun in the process.

The team finished their season as 2x Champs; They were Mosquito American League Tournament Champions as well as WMBA Mosquito Tournament Champions.

It was an unbelievably fun summer of baseball.
